Jones Distribution Ltd has again chosen Alpeco as their preferred supplier of tank and metering equipment for 15 new tankers this year. The trucks, which are all DAFs supplied by Adams Morey will be operated by Hall Fuels, Hardy Craske and Minster Fuels. The tankers will be built by Maidment Tankers and fitted out with Alpeco Bottom Loading manifolds, HLCO, Product Return and Lectrocount meter systems. Jones Distribution took the decision to standardise on Alpeco equipment a few years ago and based this decision on reliability of equipment and Alpeco's excellent service and back up.
Alpeco win CPL order
Having trialled several manufacturers' tanker equipment over the last 18 months, CPL Petroleum’s fleet engineer was left in no doubt as to whose equipment he should specify for 37 new tankers this year. The tankers will be built by tanker builder, Road Tankers Northern and will be fitted 100% with Alpeco’s Actiman manifold, Product Return, HLCO and DMX Bulk Lectrocount meter systems.

The TE550 meets the stringent requirements of the new MID regulations and has been integrated with Alpeco’s proven range of DMX meter systems to give unrivalled functionality and operational benefits to the fuel distributor.
The TE550 combines the highest level of accuracy and accountability with the ability to control other elements of the tanker delivery system, such as the manifold, product return, and NEW “CHECKMATE” system.
CHECKMATE has been designed as a driver aid to help eliminate cross contamination of products through accidental opening of the incorrect tank compartment. CHECKMATE can be installed as a stand alone system or interfaced with the TE550.
